Description:
U.S./ Model 1898 rifle circa. 1898-1903. Stock offers scattered dings and scratches, generous amount of finish with strong P proof behind the trigger guard and cartouche appearing on the left sight of the stock. Metal is mostly mottled grey , dark brown patina on the barrel with some bluing evident in the protected areas. Appears to function properly, bore is dark with fair rifling .30-40 Krag
