Here's a nice old Winchester from nearly 100 years ago (1924) that would make some one a good deer rifle. The re-bluing takes it out of the collector scene but if you want to hunt like your grandfather did, here's a good candidate. The Lyman sight (nicknamed "climbin' Lyman") mounted on the receiver gived the shooter plenty of extra sight radius. These sights sell for upwards of $400 on e-Bay. Adjustable for windage or elevation. The bore is in very good condition with strong rifling and no pitting. This is a handy .30-06 to carry on a horse or ATV. Hunt, plink, or tell about the times you rode with Panch Villa. Shipping and insurance included in the price. Needs to go to an ffl or C&R.
