Here is a nice mellow Winchester 1894 rifle that some one thought very highly of back in the day judging by the sights that are on it. The tang sight looks to me like the Marble's sight offered by Winchester; the "Beaches" style front sight appears to be Lyman, again, offered by Winchester. Bore is very good with fine rifling, no pitting. The .32-40 was a leading target cartridge in its day though there was a high speed round designed to move it into deer hunting ranks. Action seems to work fine. This is a solid old original Winchester that some owner planned on doing some fine shooting with. 1902 build date. 26" round barrel. If you'd like a nice honest Winchester from another era that could still be shot, give this rifle some thought. Shipping and insurance included to your ffl or C&R.
