Description:
High Standard began manufacturing their 1st gun in 1932 in New Haven Conn. It was called the Model B because HS was formed from the buyout of Hartford Arms who made a pistol called the Model A.
HS did some improving of this design and called it the Model B. These were very high quality guns, and were chosen over the Colt by the top target shooters of the day. This one was made in the 30s, production ceased with the outbreak of WW2.
Gun in VG condition with bright shiny bore. Still very tight, great trigger., functions perfectly. 7" barrel, comes with 1 original mag that was heat treated at the top 1.5" but not blued there. Also, the feed lips are somewhat elaborate. I'm guessing this design of mag was too expensive in the long run, I've only seen them with Model Bs.           NOTE: I have 3 books of interest to the collector, email for info and pics.

$295 or Best Offer, ships Priority Mail for $40 to lower 48, except CA. Please email mikenellpacbell.
