Description:
This is a rare find! This Pre-64 Model 70 Supergrade began life as a .257 Roberts and was rechambered by Weatherby into a .257 Weatherby. It is in excellent condition. The walnut Monte Carlo stock is checkered and has an ebony forend cap and Winchester pistol grip cap. The sling swivel mounts are inlet into the stock. The floorplate is stamped "-SUPER GRADE-" and the barrel is stamped in front of the receiver "WEATHERBY 257 MAGNUM" See photos. Manufactured in 1950, this rifle has already seen 70+ years of stories and is ready for many years more! .257 Weatherby Magnum
