An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model #3 1855 Root Revolver with Deluxe Features In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial # 25,650, all matching numbers. Made in 1860. The revolver has very nice metal, markings, and edges. Both the barrel and cylinder markings are clear. The barrel, frame, and backstrap have an untouched silver finish which shows 1800's age and tarnishing on it. The flutted cylinder has a gold finish on it and also shows aging. All screws are fine and are silver. The deluxe grips are excellent throughout and fit perfectly. They have fine carving along the bottow edges and toe area on both sides. The revolver has a nice action and bore. This Is A Very Fine Looking And Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model #3 Root Revolver With Early Deluxe Features That Would Make A Great Addition To Any Fine Collection!
