Remington Model 550 -1 Semi -Auto .22 LR Rofle - Smooth one piece pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate in very good condition. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight and ejector shield. Tubular magazine can accept 20 Short, 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver grooved for scope with ejector. Barrel and receiver are retaining 85% - 90% bluing. Thumb safety. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handing marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The overall condition is exceptional given the age of the rifle. Known as extremely accurate shooters. Manufactured from 1946 to 1970 . This one manufactured in 1953. Collector quality.
