Very early LC Smith Quality 3 on an extra heavy frame. Serial number 16057 is considered one of the earliest Q3 Syracuse guns still in existence. Gun was color cased and the Damascus steel barrels were restored by the late gunsmith Brad Bachelder. I do not know who restored the stock. This was the condition when I first received it.
Imported English walnut stock around the beautiful sculptured frame and the magnificently engraved lock plates is excellent with no splits or cracks. Full pistol grip stock and forend checking is very sharp. Original LC thick butt-plate which is not commonly seen. Screw slots are all very good. Clean and shiny bore. Measurements were done to the best of my ability. Stored in a dry and climate controlled safe. I uploaded a lot of pictures so they should speak for themselves in regards to condition. This is a solid gun with tight chokes.
