Metal is in very good partially refinished condition. There are nicks, scratches and areas of minor corrosion. The barrel appears to have been re-blued, the action has traces of what appear to be the original case colors. The buttplate has evidence of corrosion that has been cleaned up. The hinge pin looks like it has been replaced.The action locks up tight and works smoothly. The set triggers and safety work properly. The serial number and proofmarks are on the underside of the barrel and are all in tact, however the Hubertus name is only partially visible.
The wood is in very good condition with nicks, scratches and dents. It looks like it has probably been refinished at one time.
Bore is very good.
