A Very Early & Scarce Civil War Confederate Cap Box With A Pre War "U.S. Rosette" Attached To The Front Flap In Very Good Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It has nice leather throughout that shows use in the war. The early rosette is attached to the flap with its original wires on the inside. This was most likely put on just before or as the war began. The single wide belt loop on the back is sewn on and not inside a slit in the leather. This Very Early Confederate Cap Box Has A Great Untouched Look To It. These Early War Confederate Cap Boxes Are Very Hard To Come By!
