This is a very nice original Factory Engraved Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver. These engraved 1862's are getting quite difficult to find! This example is all matching serial numbers. Original ivory grips in very fine condition. The engraving is an excellent quality with a dog head on the right side of the barrel. The barrel shows about 40% blue turning to a nice plum patina. The cylinder shows about 70% original blue finish. The frame still shows strong traces of the original color case hardened finish. Mechanically works. I do have an extra case and accessories available for an extra cost if desired. Shipping is $50 because of 2nd day air method plus actual insurance cost. Thanks!
