This is an extremely fine Colt Model 1851. Navy revolver. This example shows extremely bright and vibrant original color case hardening finish present on the frame. The barrel shows about 70% original blue. The grip is in excellent condition showing much of the original factory varnish. The cylinder shows a good cylinder scene with areas of light roughness of spots throughout the cylinder. The cylinder scene is still pretty good throughout. Mechanically excellent. This Navy, without the slight cylinder roughness would retail for about $10,000. This is an extremely nice example that is completely original.
