I'm selling my collection. here is an Antique Scarce Moore's Patent Firearms Co & National Arms Co, Brooklyn NY Front Loading Teat-Fire Revolver. FFL is not required. It’s chambered in .32 Teat-Fire Six round Revolver. It was produced c. 1864 to 1870 estimated quantity made 20,000, in the Civil War era those Moore revolvers were the most successful competitors to Smith & Wesson, it's believed that their strong sales was one of the reason for Colt's purchase of the National Arms Co (Moore's successor), 3.1/4" round barrel with a strong bore with oxidation, 6 chambers of the non flutted cylinder are fine. Good condition with fine crisp engraving, markings on the barrel & cylinder are small, readable with loupe on the barrel "MOORE's PAT.FIREARMS CO BROOKLYN NY" on the cylinder: "D.WILLIAMSON' PATENT/JAN.5.1864". Little traces of the original silver plating on the brass frame factory engraved in the LD Nimscke style, the original blue on barrel & cylinder were brushed off by time, with all visible on the pictures. The action works occasionally. Good visible markings and serial number. Bird eye rosewood grips are good. Well designed & built, very collectible piece of history.
