Description:
Great War era 1911, dated from 1918. This firearm comes with the original wooden grips, and of the era two toned magazine. On the right side of the handgun, it sports a "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" mark. The 1911 has a flat backstrap, which disappeared with the later A1 model. It has the longer and smooth trigger, a narrower front sight than the A1. Overall this is a fantastic piece of American history and would make a great piece in any collection.
