Description:
Remington XP-100 rebarreled to 7mm IHMSA(International) caliber with a 15" Shilen barrel with 1:9 twist. Also included are: Factory "Remington XP-100 case + owner's manual. 92 of my handloads in Federal brass with 140 grain Nosler Solid Base bullets, the load I used shooting silhouette matches successfully. It is a very accurate load and perfect for deer hunting, too. In one of the three Case Guard boxes you wll receive are also 26 empty cases and one that has been set up as a snap cap. Also included are 80 new, unfired, sized, and trimmed to length, Federal cases. The Williams receiver sight is currently mounted, but you can easily change back to the Bomar(screws included) fully adjustable open sight that I used in competition. The Lyman front glode sight comes with the extra inserts. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for base/ring installation if one chooses to mount a scope(base/ring sets are available from many sources). The trigger breaks at 14 ounces on my RCBS scale. The RCBS die set includes neck and full length sizing dies and the bullet seater die. I am the original owner of all and condition is excellent. Metal surfaces have been parkerized for durability in an attractive dark grey. The original stock has been bead blasted and painted black, and shows only light handling wear. The bore is in excellent condition as photos 9(just forward of chamber) and 10(near muzzle), taken with my Lyman bore camera, show. The serial number is B7516195.
