This Mauser Model K98k was manufactured at the Feinmechanische Werke GmbH, Erfurt, Altonaerstr. 25 plant. The action has AX 41 manufactured code stamp, eagle (waffenmarks) 359 and eagle 280 inspection and acceptance stamps. The barrel, action and stock have matching serial numbers and have the proper inspection and acceptance stamps. The bolt is mis-matched and not serial number stamped to this rifle. It is discreetly import stamped on the barrel. 8mm Mauser
