IN MY RESEARCH ON THESE SUPERLIGHTS THAT WERE MADE IN 1983, THERE WAS A VERY LIMITED RUN OF EACH GRADE MADE. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, TOM KOESSL AND BILL JAQUA COMMISSONED THE GUNS. ALL 410 CALIBER AND WITH 28" BARRELS. THAT HAS BEEN INDICATIVE OF MY RESEARCH AND VIEWING THE GUNS I HAVE SEEN IN PERSON.
THE SHOTGUN FEATURES 410GA 28" BARRELS, CHOKED I/M FULL. (MARKED) STUNNING FEATHER CROTCH BLACK AMERICAN WALNUT STOCK WITH A STRAIGHT ENGLISH STOCK AND A SUPERLIGHT SCHANABLE FOREARM. THIS IS GUN IS CASED IN AN ORIGINAL BROWNING CASE. IT IS IN AS NEW CONDITION. I DON'T BELIEVE THIS GUN HAS EVER BEEN FIRED OUTSIDE OF THE FACTORY TESTING.
THIS SUPERPOSED WAS ENGRAVED BY ONE OF THE MORE WELL-KNOWN MASTER ENGRAVERS AT THE TIME AND WAS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED BY PACHMAYR TO DO THE ENGRAVING.
THE ENGRAVER WAS A MASTER ENGRAVER. M.D. FRANCO I KNOW HE WAS A VERY SOUGHT-AFTER ENGRAVER IN BELGUIM, BUT, I WASN'T ABLE TO FIND OUT MUCH ABOUT HIM.
