This is the Model 63 semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Winchester in 1945 marked on the barrel as ".22L.Rifle - Super Speed & Super X" differentiating it from the early model 1903 in .22 Win Auto. It has been fully restored and retains about 94-96% of the reblue on the barrel, frame and butt plate showing traces of pitting underneath the finish and some light marks and scratches on the barrel. It is equipped with a receiver mounted adjustable Lyman peep sight and the standard post front sight with a dovetailed blank in the rear slot. The walnut stock and forearm are in near excellent condition with a very small chip at the toe and some old use marks and surface scratches. A very good looking Model 63 that would be fun to shoot.
