Description:
Serial #NSN, Batch #31, .41 Rimfire, 3 inch barrels with near excellent bores with isolated spots of surface roughness. This is the Type II or Model No.3 Double Derringer manufactured by Remington with the one line address on the rib "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." and was manufactured from 1888-1911. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 87-90% of the original bright nickel plating which has flaked on the muzzle and along the high edges and grip strap with the blued hammer and spur trigger retaining most of the original blue. The original hard rubber grips are fully intact without any cracks worn smooth along half of the surface area. It locks up tight with a strong hammer that holds at half and full cock and properly alternates barrels on each pull. FFL or C&R
