I'm selling my collection. I'm selling my collection. here is an Antique Connecticut Arms Single Shot Massive Bulldog Derringer Hammond Patent with a 4" Octagonal barrel with a very good bore lot of shine with sharp rifling with few spots of black powder erosion, breechblock pivoting to the left for loading, chambered for the powerful .44 Rimfire (ammunitions showed are not for sale). FFL is not required. Produced from 1866 to late 1880s, estimated quantity of 8,000. Clean chamber. Action functions well. The finish is gone to molted grey with tiny pin prick erosion here and there. The original grips are good one the left one is cracked. Well sharp markings o the the top of the barrel: "COONECTICUT ARMS & MANF.CO.NANBUC CONN" and "PATENTED AUG.28.1866.". Well designed & built, very collectible piece of history. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures. The ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale for display only. Buyer is responsible for knowing all laws pertaining to this transaction.
