Description:
25-35 Win, serial number 1427XX, mfg 1898. 26" octagon barrel, rifle butt. Appears all original except for replacement rear sight, mechanically sound. Barrel and magazine tube retain 60% original blue with patches of heavy rust. Some evidence of rust removal. Receiver retains 40% original blue with rust flecking, showing forging striations. Lever retains small amount of case color with areas of rust. Bore is fair, shows heavy wear and light pitting. Stock and forend are sound with no cracks or large marrs, retain 40% original finish.
