A fine (good to very good cond) deluxe 5 Diamonds (factory checkering pattern) is chambered in 30 06 as were 90 % that left the factory however if the buyer wants we can have it rechambered to 35 whelen and have the barrel shortened to carbine (18 1/2 or 19")...Call for pricing to have either or both done ...or use it in its original desirable configuration. Young shooteres will moslty not be aware that in the not too distant past factory 06 ammo was avail from 125 to 220 grains; woodchucks to the big bears. Bore is excellent, blue and wood very good wiht no meaningful flaws.
SCOPE SHOWN IS A LEUPOLD VARI X 11 2X7 IS NOT INCLUDED BUT MAY BE PURCHASED WITH THE GUN FOR AN ADDITIONAL 125.00 BY THE PURCHASOR OF THE RIFLE OR 150.00 IF NOT BUYING THE RIFLE . NOTE THE VERY HANDY TIP OFF MOUNT HAS SOME LOSS OF BLUE BUT IS A TERRIFIC SET UP IN THE THE SCOPE WILL SWING AWAY IF IT BECOMES FOGGED OR FILLED WITH SNOW SO THAT IN AN INSTANT THE OPEN SIGHTS MAY BE USED...(SEE PICS) THE MOUNT IS INCLUDED WITH THE RIFLE These mounts were made by several different companys ....some were called swing away and there were other brand name models used. The swing off to the left then snap back securely in place without changing the point of impact ...We have always valued these on our deer rifles
