The Colt Trooper MKIII “The Working Man’s Python” is a 6-shot revolver manufactured for nearly two decades before production stopped in the 1980s. This was a premium model of its time, popular among law enforcement, and equally well-loved by private citizens for personal protection. This model was manufactured in 1971 and is chambered in 357 magnum and also accepts 38 special, It sports a 4\" barrel with adjustable sights and original colt wooden target grips with a gold colt medallion. This single/double-action model is in excellent mechanical condition, with an excellent crisp bore with well defined rifling. The finish is approximately 75% with minor loss of finish at the high points on frame and cylinder and muzzle. Appears to be typical holster wear from a police duty gun. The gun sports a case colored wide target hammer and grooved trigger. The grips are without cracks or damage with sharp checking and some very minor handling marks on the top of the left grip panel and bottom of both. Please see the photos for more information.
