In the 1970’s a small company started building the first off-the-shelve custom 1911’s. They were from Walled Lake, Michigan. The company went by the name, “Michigan Armament, Inc.” and built guns until moving to California in 1982. Some time after the move they stopped and started doing custom work for Kimber. These guns were the grandfather of custom 1911 guns makers we have grown to know, such as Les Baer and Ed Brown.
Condition: Very good overall, shiny bore with strong rifling.
