I'm selling my collection. I'm selling my collection. here is an Antique Scarce Remington Smoot's Patent New Model No 3 chambered for .38 Remington center fire Single Action 5 round Nickeled Revolver. It's an Antique pre-1898 and doesnt required FFL for transfer. Remington-Smoot No3 line were made c. 1878-1888 the estimated quantity of only 6,000 the rare Saw Handle style, with its 3.75" octagonal ribbed barrel with good clean shinny bore with sharp rifling, 5 round fluted cylinder with clean chamber. Markings on the ribbed barrel: "E.REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y. PAT.W.S. SMOOT. OCT. 21.1873". The original nickeled platted rates 70% with flakking with few little clusters of erosion. The checkered hard rubber grips with the "R" logo of Remington. Well designed & built, very collectible piece of history. The old ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale.
