Here we have an honest Smith & Wesson 3rd model Safety Hammerless revolver chambered in .32 S&W caliber. This revolver has several nicknames like "New Departure" and "Lemon Squeezer"". The 3 1/2 inch barrel has a very good bore with lots of rifling remaining. The gun has a muc of it's nickel finish remaining. The cylinder has some wear and spotty finish loss. The 3 1/2 inch barrel has a good bore with plenty of rifling. The barrel mechanism, trigger and grip safety all work correctly. The hard rubber grip panels are free of any cracks or chips but have some fading on the left side. This fine Smith & Wesson would make a great addition to an existing collection or a strong way to start a new collection.
