We have just received another absolute super condition Smith Wesson model 27-2 wearing a 5 " bbl. This has a S serial number prefix dating to mid 60's. This gun is a solid 98% and was absolutely meticulously cared for . for a 57 year old gun looking at it you would know it's age. This is a used gun, that is in super condition...Mechanically fine also. It has the original diamond center grips that are numbered to the gun.which also rate 98%. This is another great find. These S serial number guns do mot come up ffor sale often..especially the 5" barrel model..According to internet research, this gun was made in 1966 or very early 1967, Which was Smith Wesson's Quality years. this gun is worthy of collecting, and could be fired without loosing value, if owner so chooses..Pleae look at the pictures, Enlarge them to show everything these are high resolution pictures..Serious inquiries, if you wish more pictures of a certain area please let me know and I will do my best to get them for you.
This is an OUTSTANDING condition 57 year old Smith.NO idiot rings around screws from wrong size screw drver, nor buggered screws! No evidence of side plate being pried off. This one will be snatched up quick....Sorry, GUN ONLY NO BOX OR PAPERWORK..
