Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” BBL. Serial # 140938
On barrel and frame. Standard Markings, “Patented Sept 14 1858/E Remington & Sons Ilion New York, USA/New Model”, U.S. Inspectors marks, the bore is very good maybe 50% of rifling; cylinder chambers clean. Actions works well and locks up very tight when cocked, metal is clean with almost no rust or corrosion, cartouche remnants on grips, Walnut grips are original and very good with a few small chips, fits well and look good,. Overall an excellent shooter and original antique Civil War Era Remington Army suitable for collector/shooter. (16-27) $1,150.00
