Standard configuration Bern 1924, 7.65mm Luger, with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable fire blued front sight and fixed rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. “P53” release on left rail. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last few digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, grip safety and each of the grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Correct magazine with tinned body and walnut plug marked “15”. Complete with Lothar Walther conversion kit marked for 7.65 Para/4mm with eight inserts, no box. Synopsis: A very high, original condition Swiss 1924 Bern Military Luger with an unusual 4mm Lothar Walther conversion kit. Condition: Beautiful, bright rust blue, at least 98%, only minimal sharp edge wear as one might expect from a pistol that has not seen much service. Small parts with richly retempered strawing. Comparable condition front and backstraps. Near excellent grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Excellent Lothar Walther conversion kit components.
