Description:
This Great condition Colt Police Positive service pistol chambered in era revered .38 Special was manufactured in 1921 and was a popular overcoat pocket pistol of law enforcement during the roaring twenties. The upgraded internal hammer block safety that Colt designers incorporated into the cylinder device, the "Positive Lock", which partially found its way into Colt's name designation of the pistol. It features original bluing which over the years has retained about 95% of its finish, with light freckles of surface rust on the barrel and top of the frame, and light wear at the muzzle and cylinder, original Colt logo gutta percha grips, with a bright and shiny bore that has crisp rifling. Overall a highly prized collectable pistol that would make a fantastic addition to any firearms' family. .38 Special
