This grooved receiver rifle was made ca. 1958, and retains 98-99% of the original blue finish, with only some trace fading along a few of the high edges and projections, as well as a couple of faded spots on the top of the receiver. The walnut forend and buttstock are likewise in excellent shape with almost no handling marks or surface blemishes marring the original varnish. The checkered hard rubber buttplate exhibits little wear, and is also in excellent condition.
