SOLD This Underwood Carbine has the barrel date of 3-44. The underwood's serial number is 2873709. The barrel is by Underwood chambered for the 30 M1 Carbine cartridge. This carbine is in almost new condition! All of the parts and the gun itself have the correct Underwood codes for the serial number range and time frame. The bore is in bright minty condition. The carbine has all of the original finish intact on the gun and parts. This carbine shows no real service use or wear. The stock and forend look almost new. The stock is UEF coded. The forend is MU coded. The trigger housing is the latter stamped style. The stock is also the latter oval cut low wood style. The magazine and oiler is Underwood coded. The flat bolt has almost all of the strong bluing intact. This is a very fine example of the latter Underwood production carbines! Finding carbines in this nice of condition is really hard to do these days! Here is a collector grade carbine that would stand out in any military collection!
