The Boys at Weatrherby certainly did a first class job on the bluing, ah back in the day when guns were bright and shiny !
The Weatherby Custom Stock is California walnut with a very nice colorful grain,topped off by three custom Weatherby inlays. See the pictures. Personnally I feel that this is a very tasteful combination, it has some personality.
I purchased the rifle from a Weatherby collector back in the 80's and it is still unfired.
