Winchester Model 71 Deluxe model in .348 The Model 71 is a continuation of the model 1886. Production began in 1935 and was only chambered in .348. This is a deluxe model, manufactured in 1936 as indicated by the four-digit serial number. It sports a 24” barrel and has a Lyman 56 peep sight mounted on the breech bolt.
The overall condition of the gun is 98%. The wood retains its factory finish, bluing is near 100%. There is a scratch on the loading gate cover. This would make an excellent addition to someone’s collection.
