Description:
The Marlin Model 39 was manufactured from 1922 to 1938. This rifle has a 24" bbl and the serial number begins with an "S" prefix. This Marlin has a ( * )star on the tang. This was done by Marlin at the factory which denotes superior workmanship was used to build this rifle, this sets it apart from other Model 39's that do not have the star on the tang. This Marlin comes with it's rifle case. Original stock refinished with Birchwood Casey TruOil from Brownell's, plastic butt plate replaced with original replacement from Brownell's. $1,149.00
