Description:
The Waffenfabrik Bern 1889 is a historic Swiss Ordnance Rifle that has been modified into a training rifle. This particular rifle has been shortened to 23" and is in very good overall condition. Originally chambered in 7.5x53.5, this rifle has been converted for use with 22LR cartridges. The magazine was cleanly cut and shortened, and the follower was replaced with a block. The magazine is only cosmetic in function. The stock was updated to add a pistol grip. The original tangent sight has been replaced with the later tangent sight found on the K11 and K31 and the ears of the front sight have been shortened. This gun is a unique and fascinating piece of firearm history. Comes with a leather sling and muzzle protector. .22 Long Rifle
