Description:
First produced in 1902 and designed by John Browning, the A5 was produced in Belgium between the wars (A5 production ceased due to occupation in both world wars). Later production returned to Belgium after the war. This example is a 1958 dated A5, and being almost 100 years old, it is still in excellent condition. The bluing on the firearm is still in very good condition, likewise with the wood. Speaking of the wood, it has checkering on both the forearm and pistol grip. On the side of the barrel, there is stamping of ‘Fabrique Nationale Darmes de Guerre- Herstal- Belgique’. This firearm also includes another 28-inch barrel. The A5 is a timeless classic and is a wonderful addition to any collection.
