Ok, another odd example, but we have an extremely clean model Hi Standard Model HD military that is fitted with a Model H-A barrel. The Model A and H-A pistols had a the lightest barrel profile that High Standard offered in their hammer guns, and H-A pistols are quite rare. Only about 1000 H-A Pistols were made. I am assuming someone just wanted a lighter barrel, and they picked up one of these, or they might have wanted a longer barrel if the HD had the 4.5" barrel from the factory. I do know the finish is original as to both pistol frame and barrel, and this has the much nicer Roper style grips. Correct two tone magazine. This is an Extremely clean example, but it is not factory obviously. Functions perfectly, which is to say per usual High Standard, also extremely accurate. Thanks for your interest.
