High condition Winchester Model 71 lever action rifle in the hard-hitting .348 Winchester caliber, 24" round barrel with ramped & hooded front sight, Marble's rear sight, bolt peep removed, deluxe style having the checkered stocks and factory "super swivels" still installed, steel butt plate with widow's peak top toe, blued finish, factory 2/3 magazine, desirable "long tang" made in 1937 having serial number 11397. This rifle retains 80% receiver blue with the loss due to carry wear on the bottom of the receiver. Barrel and mag blue also average 80% with some light streaking on the barrel. Excellent, bright, shiny bore and smooth action with properly-working half cock safety. Very minor wear to the checkering from carry, basically still sharp and definitely all there without being freshened. This Adirondack Mountain deer slayer is ready for a new home and more hunting adventures; it has been deadly accurate with Winchester Silvertip ammo.
