Description:
For your consideration, a Colt M1877 D.A. 41 chambered in .41 Long Colt. Sometimes referred to as the "Thunderer," the M1877 was Colt's first double action revolver. Though known for a somewhat fragile mechanism, they have been established to have been used by serious users the likes of John Wesley Hardin, Billy the Kid, and Doc Holliday. Both double and single action remain functional in this example despite the limits of the design and it's having been made in 1904. Prospective owners can expect scattered pitting in the bore, but strong rifling. The grips are genuine mother-of-pearl. .41 Long Colt
