For your consideration, a Colt Lightning chambered in .22 Rimfire. Much of the original finish remains, however it is converting to patina in many areas. Since caliber is marked ".22 Cal." and we lack the ability to slug the chamber, we have no means of establishing whether the chambering is .22 Short or Long. This piece dates to 1903. .22 Short
