Description:
This vintage rimfire semi-automatic target pistol is a High Standard M-101 Dura-Matic chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It has a 4½ inch barrel, a fixed blade semi-ramped front sight, a square notch rear sight, a serrated trigger, a push button safety at the rear of the frame, a loaded striker indicator at the rear of the frame, and a unique thumbscrew takedown. The bluing is in very good condition with very light handling wear but with no major marks or scratches and no rust is evident. Likewise, the grips are in very good condition with insignificant very light handling wear but with no marks or scratches and no chips or cracks evident. The M-101 Dura-Matic is a highly collectible yet affordable firearm. Known for its impressive accuracy and top-notch quality, the M-101 Dura-Matic has been trusted over the years by everyone from small game hunters to the OSS, the predecessor to the CIA.
