For your consideration, a Beretta Gold Rush chambered in .45 Colt. While the Gold Rush is a reproduction of the famed Colt Lightning, it departs from the original design by incorporating a transfer bar safety and revised lockwork allowing the cycling of the action without needing to drop the hammer. The brilliantly case-colored receiver contrasts handsomely with the blued barrel, and magazine and the white flats of the hammer and trigger. Constructed of European walnut, the furniture has a warm, auburn tone and is checkered at wrist and forend. .45 Colt
