Description:
WW II Japanese Officer's Samurai Sword in very fine original condition. The handle has an attractive guard, spacers, collar, butt-cap, ornaments, undamaged rayskin, and is nicely braided. The blade is in fine original condition, with minimal chipping on the blades edge, but a small portion of the tip is chipped off. The metal scabbard is in very fine condition, retaining 95% of its original paint finish, with assorted handling marks and one minor dent. It has and attractive tip and scabbard rings Sword is signed and comes with traces from under the handle. This is a very nice looking example of its type.
