This is a very nicely restored antique Remington -Elliot derringer/pepper box pistol - with 4 barrels and a rotating firing pin. Matching numbers. Chambered in .32RF Derringer. All the markings are present. Excellent condition original grips. Dry fires. Good rifling with mild peppering inside the bores. The barrels are finished in rust blue and the frame has a very pleasant plum color blue on it, making for a beautiful contrasting color appearance. These were made in 1860s and were easily concealable and thus very popular among card players in American West.
