Description:
This Sharps is chambered for the .40 caliber 2/14 inch cartridge.
The tag attached to the gun when we got it states the tang sight was installed by the factory April 5, 1877.
The action and double set triggers operate as they should and the bore has good rifling with some rough areas.
The wood appears to have had an old coat of varnish added.
