Description:
This is a beautiful condition original Luger 1902 carbine with an Abercrombie & Fitch leather carry case. The gun is one 2500 built by DWM in early 1900s as an alternative to the light hunting rifles of the era. It became very popular among public(those who could afford the high price tag) and many personalized examples were given as presents to the likes of Kaiser of Germany and president of Mexico. This gun is complete and all matching with near mint original blue with about 98-99% remaining, with just the slightest wear on both sides of the receiver near chamfers and minimal high edge wear. The grips straps are near perfect. There is a tiny scuff on the underside of the trigger guard as pictured. Nice bore, forearm and buttstock with an original horn buttplate. The wood is in excellent shape, with butt stock showing some scratches by the buttplate on the left side as pictured. Straw colored small parts still retain most of its color. The gun comes with a rarely seen accessory - an Abercrombie & Fitch marked leather carry case in excellent condition as well.
