Description:
Excellent condition, light wear, few small scratches., comes with one mag. In the 1930s, Winchester had been building the Model 52, a high-quality target rifle that was used by many shooting teams worldwide for a number of decades. Winchester wanted to build a medium-cost target rifle, but the Model 52 was not suitable for this role as it was too expensive and too heavy for the young shooter. As such, Winchester appointed its designers to design a new lighter, less expensive target rifle that could still win matches if used by more experienced shooters. Taking the action of the Model 69 as a base, a new rifle was developed around the action; this weapon would become the Model 75. The action was later modified to allow for a bit of an advantage compared to other rifles when it came to precision shooting. The Model 75 began production in 1938 and was first advertised in 1939, touting it as being lighter but as accurate as the older Model 52. The weapon was highly successful. .22 Long Rifle
