This original production, Detonics MK VI is chambered in .45 ACP and was the ideal-concealed carry gun for those who loved the classic 1911 styling when they first hit the market. This firearmfirearm was produced during the initial manufacturing from 1976-1987 by Detonics Manufacturing Company in Seattle, Washington.It features a left side thumb safety, minimized palm safety, smaller rounded beavertail, double wound recoil spring w/ full-length guide rod, unique purpose slanted slide design which allows the user to manually "cock the hammer" while drawing from the holster and 6 +1 capacity. (allowing for the use of larger 1911 magazines). .45 Auto
