Description:
Serial #849514, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1956-made revolver that has 97-98% of the original blue remaining, and some faint traces of silvering along a few of the high and projecting edges. There is a mild turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder, but very little evidence of use otherwise. The checkered walnut, Colt medallion grips are in excellent shape with almost no handling marks or flattening of the points. The revolver is housed in a correct, two-piece woodgrain box with a mostly illegible serial number on the bottom (only the first digit is readily discernible: "8"). Modern printed instructions are also included. This is a splendid example of a desirable DA Colt, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
